Developer Jorge Perez and The Related Group, have proposed the City of Miami, two new towers, soaring 55 stories each, to be called Paraiso Bay (Element). The project is a huge undertaking, and it calls for 700 units, featuring unobstructed views of the Biscayne Bay, and 1,124 parking spots, in the newly revived Edgewater section of Miami; additionally, the developer is proposing the City, the permanent closure of northeast 31 Street, in order to build a park, a multi-level parking garage, and an amenities deck. This in particular, has steered quite a controversy amongst local residents, who are not happy about the fact, that they will no longer be able to see the Bay, from Biscayne Boulevard. Paraiso Bay (Element) condo Miami, will be located at 600 NE 31 St. Miami, Florida 33137, Unit sizes, will range between 1,000 and 2,500 square feet, completion is expected for 2017.
